Our turn-around time is currently eleven weeks.
We have been working our butts off to shorten our lead time, however, the need for mending and alterations is in high demand. In the years since Covid and quarantine, our county has seen the closures of several alterations shops, including many home-sewing businesses. This has increased the workload for those of us left in business.
Despite limiting what we take in right now, despite working seven days a week, and despite hiring several people in the last few months, it is challenging to keep up with all the proms, weddings, graduations, etc.

What We Do
The Fitting Image offers a full range of alterations, tailoring, restyling, resizing, repairing, and mending.
We are not always able to provide a price quote over the phone, however, please visit us with your garment for a complimentary fitting so we can better understand your concerns, provide you with a more accurate price estimate, and prioritize our work to meet your needs.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Please plan for a turn-around time of 2 – 12 weeks.
Sales tags from garments will be removed upon alteration.
Please bring anything you plan on wearing with your garments to your fitting (shoes, shoe lifts, undergarments, shapewear, etc.).
We are a fragrance-free shop; please refrain from wearing strong scents for fittings.
All garments must be clean & scent-free prior to fittings and alterations.
All wetsuits must be clean and dry prior to repairs.
All prices listed, advertised, and quoted have a 3.99% cash discount built in. I.e., credit & debit card transactions will have a convenience fee added to the total.
Payment due at drop off.
Our work is guaranteed for 30 days after completion, i.e. if any item requires adjustments, it must be brought in within 30 days of completion.
Receipt required for adjustments.
Any measurements dictated by the customer are excluded from complementary adjustments.
Any item(s) picked up before being completed will be refunded original price minus $15 time-and-resource fee and in original method (exact card required).
Unclaimed garments may be disposed of after six months and 3 phone calls/texts.
Storage fee of $5/week applied starting day 61 after completion/due date.
We reserve the right to refuse service.
